Quality statute

All providers of ‘medical GGZ (mental health care)’, i.e. Generalistic Basic GGZ and pecialized GGZ within the Health Insurance Act, are obliged to have a quality statute and to make this public. Click here for the approved quality statute of Psychologen Amsterdam.

The quality statute was developed a few years ago to improve care for clients in mental health care by describing a good division of roles and tasks for the various health care professionals.

What is described in the quality statute?

In the quality statute, Psychologen Amsterdam describes the procedures and the tasks and responsibilities of the health care professionals involved during the health care process: from registration, intake and diagnosis to treatment, guidance, evaluation and aftercare.

The quality statute also clearly describes which health care professionals may act as coordinating practitioners.
