With a phobia, you fear a situation, person, animal, place or thing for no reason. You yourself know that there is no danger and that your fear is not real. You try to avoid such a situation as much as possible. If you are nevertheless confronted with your phobia, it will lead to severe fear. And, for example a faster heartbeat, sweating or shaking. If you suffer from your phobia in your daily life and you realize that your fear is exaggerated and unrealistic, it is wise to seek help from an experienced psychologist.
